Fully furnished two-room apartment in good location for students wanting both a comfortable distance from campus and some peace and quiet on your free time. Excellent location for both nature and culture lovers, as the apartment is very close to Ruissalo nature reserve and Turku Castle. Location: 20 minute walk to the city centre and several bus stops only a 5 minute walk away. Direct bus lines take you to the centre, the airport and the harbour. 5 minute walk from Turku University of Applied Sciences Arts Academy campus, and 30 minute bus ride to University of Turku. Cycling to University of Turku takes about 15-20 minutes and the route follows the Aura river, which makes for a really enjoyable commute. Some notable places near the apartment are Turku Castle, Ruissalo island, Turku harbour and both TUAS Arts Academy and Turku Conservatory, which host events for music and arts lovers. Food shopping can be done in several of the nearby shops. The apartment: Windows on two walls allow great air ventilation and let a lot of natural light in. The size of the apartment is very comfortable for one person, but can also accomodate two (like a couple) if needed. Lots of storage space and a big wardrobe keep the apartment looking tidy, as there is plenty of space to put your things away. The apartment comes fully furnished, including a fully equipped kitchen (only missing a coffee machine, but there's a french press instead), a tv, and even a bicycle if needed. There are no washing machines in the apartment itself, but there is a laundry room in the house which you can use for a small price. Rent: Rent includes heating, but water and electricity are billed separately every 3 months based on use. I will happily give a more detailed breakdown of this by message.
